Axcel Hydrocortisone Cream 1% 15g 1% w/w

Indication

Mild topical corticosteroid for the treatment of mild inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, insect bites, mild allergic skin reactions, and minor skin irritations. Relieves itching, redness, and swelling.

Ingredients

• Hydrocortisone (Micronised) 1% w/w (10mg/g)

Direction

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1 to 3 times daily, or as directed by physician. Gently rub into the skin. Do not use for more than 7 days without medical advice. Refer to enclosed leaflet for more information.

Side effects

• or itching at application site
• Skin thinning (with prolonged use)
• Stretch marks (with prolonged use on large areas)
• Skin discoloration
• Secondary skin infection (rare)
• Contact dermatitis (rare)

Precautions

• For external use only — do not apply to eyes or mucous membranes
• Do not use on infected skin unless directed by physician
• Do not use on open wounds or broken skin
• Avoid prolonged use

• Do not use under occlusive dressings unless directed by physician
• Controlled medicine — use as directed
• Consult doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Keep out of reach of children
